Fire & special perils
This plan provides protection to your covered property resulting from loss or damage caused by:
- Fire, Lightning, Explosion
- Riot, Strike, Civil Commotion, Malicious Damage
- Impact Damage by Road Vehicle
- Damage caused by aircraft and other aerial devices and/or articles dropped there from
- Storm, Tempest and Flood and Inundation
- Earthquake and Volcanic Eruption
- Bursting and Overflowing of Water Tanks and Pipes
The property covered may consist of the following physical assets:
- Building
- Furniture, fixtures and fittings
- Plant and equipment
- Office equipment
- Stock-in-trade from raw materials to finished products
In addition, the following expenses which may be incurred following the operation of a covered peril, can be availed:
- Cost of Removal of Debris
- Architects' Surveyors' and Consultant Engineers' Fees
This plan is suitable for residential villas and apartments, office, shops, manufacturing units etc. The cover is usually for a period of 12 months.
